What do you need to make Korean Strawberry Milk?
Here are the 3 simple ingredients you will need for this recipe:
Fresh strawberries. Please ensure they are fully ripe as they will be easier to mash, and for maximum flavor.
Sweetened condensed milk. Using condensed milk eliminates any cooking process, as there is no need to melt the sugar into the puree. More importantly, it tastes absolutely heavenly when matched with the flavors of strawberries, and makes the drink to be extra smooth and creamy.
If you don’t have any condensed milk on hand, you can also substitute it with honey, maple syrup, or sugar, based on preference.
If you are using sugar, I recommend letting the puree sit at room temperature overnight (for the sugar to melt naturally), or cooking the puree until the sugar has dissolved. Please ensure the mixture has fully cooled down before assembly, as the milk will curdle otherwise.
