When your family craves something sweet for tea time, there’s nothing better than surprising them with a delightful treat that’s both delicious and healthy. Today, I’m excited to share with you a recipe that requires minimal effort but delivers maximum flavor and satisfaction. These almond cookies are flourless, eggless, and free from added sugars, butter, and sour cream. Instead, they feature natural, wholesome ingredients that will leave everyone craving for more. Let’s dive into the recipe!

Ingredients:

1 medium sweet apple
80 grams almonds

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven: Heat your oven to 180℃ (350℉) to prepare for baking.

Prepare the Apples: Start by removing the seeds from the apple and finely chopping it. Optionally, you can peel the skin if desired. Transfer the chopped apple to a blender and pulse until it resembles finely grated apple, maintaining its texture.

Grind Almonds: Pour the almonds into a dry blender bowl and grind them into a coarse flour-like texture. This will serve as the base for our cookies.

Mix the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground almonds with the apple mixture to form a dough. The dough should be dense but easy to handle. The natural sweetness of the apple will provide the perfect amount of sweetness to the cookies.

Shape the Cookies: Form the dough into cookies using molds or by hand, creating your desired shapes. Place the formed cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. The dough holds its shape well and won’t crumble during baking.

Bake the Cookies: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cookies for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.

Prepare Banana Version: For a variation, you can also make banana cookies. Simply mash one small banana until smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture. Combine the mashed banana with the almond flour and any desired flavorings, such as vanilla or cinnamon. Shape the dough into cookies and bake as instructed above.
