Almond Cake

Tender, buttery, lightly sweetened Almond Cake is a wonderfully light dessert that we all love. No frosting or complicated decorating is necessary for this simply perfect cake!

Ingredients

    • ½ cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3-4 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for serving
