APPLE PECAN CAKE WITH CARAMEL GLAZE

  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • Approximately 3 to 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced (about 3 1/2 cups)

  • 1/3 cup of unsalted butter (about 5 1/3 tablespoons)
  • 1/3 cup of light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup of whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
