yeast rolls with vanilla cream

2 teaspoons sugar, milk and yeast let rise.

Then knead with flour, a pinch of salt, sugar, egg yolks, milk and oil. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour until it has doubled in volume.

Meanwhile, prepare a pudding, let it cool and then mix it with butter. Put something into the fridge.

Form rolls about 1 cm thick and 20 cm long. Fold this in the middle, braid it and fold the ends down.

Let rise on the tray, brush with beaten egg and bake at 200 °C for about 15 minutes (until golden brown).

Let cool down. Then cut open, fill with vanilla cream and dust with powdered sugar. The recipe makes approx. 18 pieces with a length of 10 cm.
