Excellent traditional Berlin donuts, grandma’s old recipe!
Ingredients
500 g flour
1 egg
1 egg yolk
50 g sugar
80 grams butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 peeled lemon
30 g fresh yeast
2 tablespoons rum
1 teaspoon vinegar
180 ml milk
2-3 drops bitter almond extract
For sprinkling or topping:
100 g powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoons water
