Dates & Carrot Cake

Ingredients

 1 hour
 20cm Round Springform Cake Tin
  1. 125 g Butter *softened
  2. 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  3. 1/4 cup Caster Sugar
  4. 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  5. 2 large Eggs *room temperature
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  7. 150 ml Milk *room temperature OR slightly warmed
  8. 1 & 1/2 cups Self-Raising Flour
  9. 1/2 teaspoon Bi-carb Soda
  10. 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  11. 1 large Carrot *coarsely grated
  12. 1 cupful chopped Dried Dates
