A simple strawberry cake – so simple it couldn’t be easier
Mold dimensions: 24×24 cm
Ingredients :
500 ml 36% cream, well chilled
250g mascarpone cheese
5 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 teaspoons gelatin + 1/4 cup boiling water
2 transparent jellies + 700 ml boiling water
approx. 200 g round sponge cakes
any fruit (I used about 400g of strawberries)
I prepared the dough in a 24×24 cm pan.
I used strawberries for the cake, but you can also use other fruits.
It is best to use transparent jelly or the color of the fruit used.
Before preparing the cake, the cream and mascarpone cheese should be well cooled.
Serve the cake after it has completely set in the refrigerator.
It is an excellent refreshment in hot weather.
