This is not your everyday cookies and cream ice cream. (Although don’t get me wrong, I love a great cookies and cream ice cream!) The base of this ice cream tastes just like Oreo cookies, not like vanilla ice cream with chunks of Oreos.

- 24-36 Oreos or chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups cream
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
